The Simpsons: Tapped Out Wiki

Hey guys, it's been a bit over a week since I wrote my last blog, which you can find here, but here I am again with another "Worth the Donuts?". Before I get into breaking everything down, that if this is the first of my Blogs you're reading, then you can check the other ones I have here. Also, for those of you who have been wondering about the Nighthawk Diner and still haven't read my post about it, you can also check that out here. Also, if there are any items that you want me to break down to help you decide, let me know in the comments as well. Now let's get down to business.

The Mansion of Solid Gold is a premium building that we got as part of Gil's Deals. Now is the Mansion worth the donuts? Here is my take on it:

Pros Cons
All new building that accompanies the Level 42 update. No new characters unlocked.
It comes with a small three part quest line. At Donuts250, with out a character, it is a pretty pricey buy.
Unlocks a new 30m job for Chester Lampwick. If you don't already own Lampwick, then the building won't get used outside of the quest line.
Since it is a building, it does have money and experience income, every 4h.

So is the Mansion of Solid Gold worth the donuts? Honestly, it is really pricey considering it doesn't come with a character, so if you're one who is short on donuts, this would be an item I would pass on. Not the best premium purchase you can make. Barney's Bowlarama (which I will have a "Worth the Donuts?" on soon, us also Donuts250, and I believe would be a better purchase. But in the end, as always, it's up to you. Just remember this IS a limited time item. You only have four days to decide whether or not to buy it, so make it quick!

Remember that the Stonecutters 2014 Event also ends in five days, so any premium purchases you want to make from the event should also be done before then as well! we may never see these items again! You can check out the other premium reviews for this event, Number 2 and Number 314 here, and Number 51 here.

Also, along with this little Gil offer, we got the "Nuke Option" back, so everybody and explode their towns and remodel as they please, hopefully glitch free this time. I'm not doing it just yet, just in case there are still some bugs or something. But it's back!

As always, feel free to check out any of my other blogs here.

Until next time,
- shnopp.shniederheimer
