The Unicorn Wizard is a limited-time character that was released on October 3, 2017, as part of the Treehouse of Horror XXVIII Event. He was the seventh and final prize to be won in the event's Act 1.
It returned on October 3, 2018 during the Treehouse of Horror XXIX Event as a possible prize in the Magical Mystery Box (2018).

The Unicorn Wizard is a character in the Angelica Button fantasy book series by T. R. Francis. Angelica Button tried to warn the Merlinical Council in front of Lord Evilton, but no one believed her and she was sent to Mount Krushmore. Marge once dressed a costume of him.
