Treehouse of Horror XXXI Event is the 5th multi-event of 2020 and the 11th multi-event overall. It was released on October 14, 2020, and ended on November 18, 2020.
Similar to previous multi-events, it was divided into 4 acts:

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The update brought a few changes with it:
- The item limit was increased by 1000 items in Springfield going from the cap of 13000 to 14000 items.
- Alcatraaaz's 60m job "Raise His Sneaker Game" and 8h job "Enjoy His Financial Security" requirements were fixed.
- The locations for the freemium characters' currency tasks was changed back to Springfield Elementary or Brown House instead of the Heights Theater or Brown House in the Sidekicked Aside questline.
- A patch update was released on October 15 which included some more changes:
- The music was changed to the Treehouse of Horror music for the event.
- Leaves fall on the screen.
- Rivers were changed to the darker versions from previous Treehouse of Horror events (excluding the XXIV and XXV events which were different to the darker river).
- The loading screen illustration has a coloring mistake, giving Beelzebart and Lisafer's legs their usual yellow color.
