I'm starting a campaign to try to make this happen. As a poor nursing student that has only been able to purchase two major premium items after someone gave me a google play card for my birthday (insert violins here), I started wondering why it couldn't be a little easier to earn donuts faster than a rate of 100 per 6 months. This got me to the point of imagining why there couldn't be a Scratch-R that could be purchased daily with one donut, had a guaranteed win of at least two donuts, and a highly unlikely jackpot of ten donuts? That way, people would still buy the golden Scratch-R for the larger payouts of donuts but those of us who don't have the expendable income would have a chance to buy Bumblebee Man. One day, Bumblebee Man, one day....
Is there really a limit on finding free donuts in the game??? I've been getting an average of 2 per day from visiting 100 friends. At this rate I would get 700+ in a year. This doesn't include donuts given out from events, etc. I haven't yet read about a limit, but I sure hope not!
Its pretty time consuming (on average takes about 30mins to get through them all) so I try to do it while commuting or watching TV. If your friend levels are maxxed out, you get more cash (a bit over 30k/day) which helps if you're still building your city. Feel free to add me as well if you like (HanaeAntagonist), I've just freed up a couple of friend spots due to inactivity on some accounts.
Potterygrr246: I've experienced this problem a few times myself! If you log out of origin and then log back in, it should help resolve it. I'll add you to my friends list now though :)
August: they randomly appear when you tap on buildings in your friend's towns. I think it's a 1-2% chance they'll appear, so the more friends you have, the more tapping you can do, and the higher the chance you'll get them! They also randomly appear when you get Homer/Lisa to clean up debris in Springfield.
