The Rich Texan is a premium character released on April 19, 2013, along with the level 28 update. The Rich Texan is the fourth character in the Villains Character Collection.

On May 9, 2018 during the Who Shot Mr. Burns (Part Three) 2018 Event, he had a rebate offer of 30 donuts after purchasing.

About[]

Richard Texan, better known as the Rich Texan, is a stereotypical rich, selfish, callous, but gregarious, business owner from Springfield. He wears a tan suit with a bolo tie and a white cowboy hat (which he wore on the day Kennedy was shot), and is in his 70s. He holds two guns at once. He is the Richest Cowboy. Although he speaks and acts like a Texan, the "Rich Texan" is actually from Connecticut. Mr. Burns once called him "Shady Bird Johnson".

From Season 9, Episode 12 “Bart Carny” (presumably as in the game).
Some players experience problems with The Rich Texan's 12 hour task 'Ride the Mechanical Bull' as once the player has set him on the job and quit the game, he stops and starts walking around the players Springfield again. This meant that the only way for players to progress with his quests was to pay 6 donuts to finish the task instantly.
He is one of the very few characters to have a task over 24h, though it's not permanent.
