Taps 2024 Event was the final update for The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was released on September 26, 2024, eight days after the conclusion of A Bart Future 2024 Event and ended on January 24, 2025. On October 31, 2024, the game was removed from the App Store and Google Play. This game is no longer accessible following the conclusion of this event.
New and returning content was released in five waves:
Wave 1: September 26, 2024 - January 24, 2025 (2012 - 2015 content)
Wave 2: October 1, 2024 - January 24, 2025 (2016 - 2017 content)
Wave 3: October 8, 2024 - January 24, 2025 (2017 - 2018 content)
Wave 4: October 15, 2024 - January 24, 2025 (2019 - 2021 content)
Wave 5: October 22, 2024 - January 24, 2025 (2022 - 2024 content)
The event started with the questline, Taps, followed by the main questline, Denouement, which unlocked all the personal prizes.
*If the player already owned Lard Land Donut Factory, Donut Mech, and/or CostMo, they received the 100 donuts.
**If the player already owned Jewish Walk of Fame, Golden Goose Realty, Lard Land Shop, and/or The Ten Commandments, they received the 100 donuts.

The update brought a couple new changes with it:
In-app purchases were disabled.
Donuts could be bought with cash.
This was initially broken with the release as donuts would've been lost when reloading the game. It got fixed with a patch update the next day.
This was the longest event ever in The Simpsons: Tapped Out, lasting for nearly four months.
