The Preparatory School is a premium building released with the Level 46 content update on November 12, 2014. It is unlocked for purchase at Level 31. Upon completion Greta Wolfcastle is unlocked.

On January 25, 2018 during the Bart Royale 2018 Event, it was available in the store as a rebate offer which gave a bonus of 50 Donuts after purchasing it.

During the Love, Springfieldian Style 2019 Event it was offered again with the same rebate offer with a bonus of 50 Donuts after purchasing it.

The Springfield Preparatory School was a private school in Springfield. They held an Annual Fair that the Simpsons attended one year. Greta Wolfcastle was a student there. Their headmaster was Sinjin Van Hookstrap.
