The Plastic Prison is a limited-time decoration that was released on June 28, 2016, as part of the Superheroes 2016 Event. It was the sixth prize to be won in the event's Issue 2.

- While it's not unique, only one can be obtained in the event.
- The Plastic Prison is a reference to the movie X-Men, it even includes the chessboard Professor Xavier and Magneto used to play against each other.
- It appeared in Bart's New Friend (Season 26 Episode 11).
- When tapped, the room lights up. When tapped again, the lights turn off.
