Orville is a limited-time character that was released on December 11, 2019, as part of Act 1 of Abe's in Toyland 2019 Event. He was the fifth and final prize to be won in the event's Act 1.

Orville, or Great-Grandpa Simpson also known as Grandpa Orville Simpson is one of the five children of "Old Tut" and "Happy" Dinsdale, the father of Abe Simpson and the paternal grandfather of Homer Simpson.
