The Oktoberfest 2015 Promotion is the ninety-seventh content update released to The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was released on September 30, 2015 and ended on October 6, 2015. The promotion gave the player the opportunity to purchase several premium items and get back some of the Donuts spent on them. It worked similar like the End of School Promotion 2015.

The Promotion was scheduled in three parts:

  • Part 1: September 30, 2015 - October 2, 2015
  • Part 2: October 2, 2015 - October 4, 2015
  • Part 3: October 4, 2015 - October 6, 2015

In contrast to the situation during the End of School Promotion, some items were available until the end of the Promotion and didn't disappear as soon as a new part started.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Oktoberfest is the world's largest Volksfest (beer festival and travelling funfair). Held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, it is a 16-day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October, and attracts, on average, 6 million visiters per year.
  • This update removed the Tennis Court from the store and unlocked the IRS Drone.
  • When an item is purchased, it's automatically added to the inventory.
