Dialogue[]

Nostalgia and Kitsch Pt. 1[]

Start[]

Character Dialogue
Homer Icon "Now that my car of the 90's has become the car of 2015, what do you think of rebranding it?"
Herb Powell Annoyed Icon "Is that why you called me? About that stupid, life-ruining car?!"
Homer Icon "Yeah, why?"
Herb Powell Annoyed Icon "Look, Homer. I've been going to therapy for my anger, so I'm gonna try to keep my cool right now."
Homer Icon "So you'll put me in charge of the rebranding?"
Herb Powell Surprised Icon "Ahhhhhh!!!!!"

End[]

Character Dialogue
Snake Icon "Whoah! Check out that rad looking drive! Looks like a wheel I could get behind."
Herb Powell Icon "People like the car? Hmmmm"

Nostalgia and Kitsch Pt. 2[]

Character Dialogue
Herb Powell Icon "You know Homer, after trashing my office in a fit of unmitigated rage, I had a thought on the car."
Homer Icon "Are you going to make it freemium? I hear it's a guaranteed way to make billions!"
Herb Powell Icon "People are always willing to pay huge amounts of money for nostalgic garbage like this!"
Herb Powell Icon "But we're not even going to market it as a car. This stupid thing is a status symbol!"
Homer Icon "For the tenaciously hip of 2015?"
Herb Powell Icon "That's right. But to appeal to them, it needs to be a hybrid!"
Homer Icon "Good idea. Who doesn't love a good transformer?"
Homer Icon "I know I do. I love transformers."
Herb Powell Happy Icon "Stupid idea Homer! Let's do it!"

Nostalgia and Kitsch Pt. 3[]

Character Dialogue
Herb Powell Happy Icon "Homer! I successfully licensed out the car design to Komatsu Motors for a cold 80 million!"
Homer Confused Icon "That's great?"
Herb Powell Happy Icon "Homer, I'm so happy! As a token of appreciation, I want to bank your next great idea. We're going to be rich!"
Homer Icon "I think I've still got some great ideas in me. It's that or gas."

Nostalgia and Kitsch Pt. 4[]

Start[]

Character Dialogue
Homer Icon "Herb, I've got my prototype prepared."
Herb Powell Happy Icon "Really? Already? That sure was fast!"
Herb Powell Deadpan Icon "...Should I be impressed? Or terrified?"
Homer Sarcastic Icon "You should be impressed. I spent a lot of your money rushing the invention."
Herb Powell Deadpan Icon *gulp!* "I'm still looking forward to this... so, what's the venue?"

End[]

Character Dialogue
Herb Powell Annoyed Icon "Homer, you made the Homer car again?!"
Herb Powell Annoyed Icon "How could you do this to me?"
Homer Drunk Icon "It's the only thing I'm capable of creating."
Moe Icon *sings with horn* "La cucaracha! La cucaracha!"
Herb Powell Annoyed Icon "How much did this prototype cost?"
Moe Icon "Including Homer's bar tab, you're out 82 million."
Herb Powell Surprised Icon "What? Really? My spongehead brother spent 82 million dollars?"
Herb Powell Devastated Icon "I'm ruined! ...Again!"
Homer Drunk Icon "There there, Herb. On the bright side, now you have two of the most beautiful cars ever made."
Herb Powell Devastated Icon *sobs*

Trivia[]

  • The questline has been in the files since the first release of The Homer on March 11, 2015. It couldn't be started because it requires the player to have unlocked Herb Powell, who wasn't in the game until the level 55 update.
