I went through the list of items that can be found from the YBMB and I noticed that I know some items I've seen that were not on the list. Because it's hard to me compare the list and the game I think what I do is compose the full list that I can see in YBMB.
Can I post it here when I'm completed it? You can answer me to aggress firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hi, why don't we use special infobox templates for characters, buildings etc.? Why don't we use the new Portable Infoboxes? I think it could be easyer for editors to use them and fill them up. I haven't found any forum nor project about infoboxes.
You might have missed it, it's here :) Feel free to read through it (if the wall of text doesn't scare you) and comment on it.
However it has been dormant for quiet a while again. Partly because I've been busy with real-live stuff and couldn't be very active. partly because there was no clear opinion amongst the community which theme to best use.
It should be, either on the event page or on its own. In all honesty I doubt that I'll end adding it. I never had the chance to add anything about the gnome game last major event, and considering how many item pages still need to be done I hardly doubt I'll have enough time to do it.
I like your image work very much. I'm a Web programmer, but also like to do simple image edits.
I have an IPad 2 A1395 ~2011 with 16GB of memory.
I do screen prints of the TSTO game, then edit these pictures on my iPad and upload them to the Images folder. The image editor app I use is a free app called "Photo Editor-" by Axiem System. It doesn't have very many feature I use because it is for making real world picture look better. I basically only use the following three features:
Crop: To get just part of a picture to make the image smaller and more focused on a topic.
Text: To write a comment on a picture.
Draw: To circle or point to something in a picture.
The other features like red eye elimination aren't needed to edit TSTO game images.
I would like an editor that can do the following type of operations and I thought you might know of an iPad app that might be a good choice:
Transparent Alpha channel: To make the background show throught parts of picture.
Border Draw tool: Allow you to draw a boarder, ie square, circle, multi-point area, etc.
Paint Can Tool: Fill border with a color
Select A Boarder: Allow you to select a color, ie black, and use that as a boarder to fill it with a Paint Can tool
Save as: Allow you to save to jpeg, png, gif, etc...
Cut/Paste: Allow cutting and pasting from two or more images.
I'm used to using Windows image editor software like PaintBrush, Gimp, IGrafx Image/Micrografx Picture Publisher(Doesn't work on Win8/10 so I can't use it anymore).
Apologies for the very late reply; unfortunately I cannot help you.
The images you're seeing are from the files themselves, so I don't have do to anything to them, at most they require cropping, but that's very rare to happen and it's done in my notebook.
For the apps question, I honestly have no idea since I use Android and even then anything editing that needs to be done is not done there.
uhm... well, I'm not going to lie to you, I've completely forgot about this thus the very late reply, sorry about that.
If you mean the Category:Character Unlock Images, then those are from the files, if you're talking about the notification messages or the Category:Unlock Screens, those are screencaps, and are edited, or cropped more accurately, but again, the amount of work there is just minimal.
I've added you to all the places where administrators are listed. Since I don't have a list I might have missed something, so feel free to add yourself if you find another page. Also feel free to add something to your section at Category:Administrators. I've finally done that after nearly one and a half years :)
Thanks, I'll look into that, but honestly it wasn't really that bad, I opened the Mark as patrolled link as a background tab and just closed it once loaded, thus not needing to abandon the page itself.
FYI I've switched MediaWiki:Welcome-user to @latest, which should make the Welcome tool select the most recent active admin. That means if someone replies to a message where the bot selected you as greeting admin, you will get a notification.
Hey guy. Since you appear the person who knows the most about the game would you please post an update to the Railway prizes about the new access track piece into Springfield Heights. I've already placed mine but I don't know if they will provide another for an exit out of Springfield Heights. As it stands now the train comes to a complete halt and then reverses itself. If they don't I would like to appeal for a new section of track that would allow for a continous return like a "Y" section that allow the train to turn around and retrace it's same route. Food for thought.
Apologies for the lateness, got a hectic last week. It's finally done now. What you're looking for is the Rail Yard Weekly Prizes that has all final prizes for the first 5 weeks, from the sixth onwards they just go back to the same ones as before excluding the goals, whose reductions are permanent and only 25,000 are now required to completely clear them.
Do you know how I can fix this problem. Every time I try to build it I get kicked clear out of the game. If you know anyway or anyone that can help me I would so much appreciate it more than you would ever know.
Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you. There has been many reports on Answers HQ about the game crashing when trying to build something, though most of them refer to Krustyland buildings it can also be affecting the regular Springfield buildings.
The best I can tell you is to do the basic stuff. Clear cache, restart your device. If you have an Origin (now EA account), you can also try to log out and log in, with your own device and with another device if possible (sometimes it helps to synchronize it better). Then there is the uninstalling and re-installing. All of this stuff is what support will generally ask you to do, so doing it before you can already inform that they didn't help you once the last resort is used, which is to contact EA.
Recently I've spotted several cases where all categories of a page were added to it a second time.
Aside from an anonymous contribution I can only remember your edit. Do you still know how you edited that page (visual editor vs. classic editor, (non)-source mode, section-edit)? I suspect this to be another bug.
Edit: From the edit-summary I already see that it must have been section-edits...
I'm not quiet sure, anonymous editors also use the Visual Editor by default and classic-editor section edits are only available if you know how to manipulate the URL. However it might be that they get an summary prompt by default. I can't test it right now since the visual editor doesn't load correctly for me at the moment.
Anyway, when it get's fixed I'll see it in the technical updates, so I'd say if the problem still persists afterwards, we can create a new report for it.
