I took the liberty to restore this thread because I think that is an interesting question. Any maybe also because this way I can get a notification to both of you...
Seems like that name has been on the page for almost 4 years now, see Special:Diff/174093, but it does not clear up where it is sourced.
Neither of the two Simpsons wikis seems to know about the name. I could find it on Wikipedia. However, there it is also unsourced as far as I can tell. The citation in that sentence seems to refer to the voice-actor information instead.
@Invisiblephrend do you know where this name originates from? Episode, script, interview or something?
oh, my bad. i just assumed lpn was asking a dumb question that could easily be googled and deleted it. i don't have a clue where someone got marilyn from. the wikipedia citation is totally useless as well. 😗
Little FYI regarding Special:Diff/239868: Things having income doesn't necessarily mean that they are buildings. In most cases it is true, but not in all of them. The notable exceptions I can think of right now being the Lemon Tree and the Houseboat.
The place where it should always be shown correctly is the move/edit/whatever mode (i.e. the 4-way arrow). In there you can use the functionality to hide different layers. If you check that for both of them, you will see that they are not hidden by hiding the building layer, but by one of the decoration layers.
it's called a template, you sperg. literally all you have to fix on my "broken" pages are minute details like timestamps and quest requirements when the time comes to do so. that's it. i did all of the major work so you guys don't have to. next time you want to leave rude comments on my wall over trivial stuff like that, please go play a nice game of hide and go fuck yourself.
No, your "work" has to be rewritten. Allways. You don't use proper categories, you don't fill in infoboxes, you left blank section titles etc. etc. Sincerely, I had to write all those THOH XXX quests on a greenfield site again, because it is allways easier than checking out your version. One, two, three, NoWay did the same here. Sorry, not helpfull at all.
you do realize that pages have edit history, right? i volunteer here. if you think you're entitled to me building full, complete pages around YOUR precious schedule and flat out lie about how bad my """work""" is, try harder. the only time i'm not able to fill out information is when i'm waiting for a quest to complete. go cry some more about it, you fucking baby. i get along just fine with all of the admins and contributors except you. you're a smug little asshole who constantly annoys me about the most minor details. next time you have a complaint, feel free to file it into my "who gives a shit" folder.
@Invisiblephrend: Please watch your language. We can all have different opinions, but we can do so in a civil and objective manner without using insults or personal attacks. Some of the things you said are not acceptable and I've removed one of your replies.
i didn't start this, dude. put your dog on a leash and tell him to stop leaving rude comments on my wall. like i said before, i get along with everyone here but him. it's not my fault that he lacks basic social skills, but i'll be damned if i'm going to keep putting up with his insults.
and since you deleted the comment as well as for the sake of transparency, here is an example of me having to fix one of little-miss-perfect's mistakes recently. hardly the first time, i can assure you. but you never here me complain about it. can't say the same about him. but seriously, he's a douchebag. is that okay to call him that? i know i can't call him a cunt, but is it still okay to call him something that goes up one?
Just because I decided to only remove this one comment, doesn't mean that everything else is okay. It is not! I removed this comment simply because I think that it's actual content (or lack thereof) did not warrant keeping it, given the language used.
then tell him to stay the fuck off of my wall and let me work in peace. deal? i don't want to talk to him, period. everyone makes mistakes here. everyone. the last thing we need is a micromanaging cumdumpster who treats this site like it's an actual job.
You mentioned you were having some display issues with infoboxes (they get cut off, or something). I don't seem to be experiencing the same issue on my PC. Can you possibly take a screen-shot of the problem, so I can get a better picture of what is happening?
Hi again, please, discuss your arguments instead of reverting edits (here and here). You say I'm wrong. I can't agree. Let's see all other quests articles. There are rewards for finishing quests (usually 100 cash + 10 experience), not rewards for finishing jobs. Also there are characters or ways that triggers those quests, not places where characters perform their jobs. This info (rewards for jobs & places needed for performing jobs) should be in the character's article, for example here.
they are NOT 100 cash and 10 xp. i know because i completed those quests myself. the fact that you say they're "typically" these numbers proves that you're pulling these numbers out of your ass. there are literally videos on youtube that prove you wrong. seriously, are you on drugs or something?
No need to be rude, nobody is trying to vandalize here!
Let me start by saying that Baziczech is right. In an attempt to make things more clear I've added some images. The first screenshot shows the job and it's reward. This however is not what belongs into the "Rewards" column. It is only the reward for one (and in this case the only) objective of the quest, not the quest itself. The actual quest reward is what is shown on the second image.
Regarding the trigger information: This refers to the character that has the speech bubble with the exclamation mark (third image) that you have to tap on in order to start the quest. Or it is "auto" if there is no manual trigger and the quest just starts when for example the previous one has completed or immediately after logging into your town. I think on the wiki there might be some examples that contradict that rule, but I don't know how or where to find them at the moment and therefor can't say whether they are reasonable or not.
