Lyla is a limited-time premium character that was released on December 11, 2017, during Act 1 of The Invasion Before Christmas 2017 Event. She is unlocked upon the completion of The Peak Inn.
She returned on December 5, 2018 during A Simpsons Christmas Special 2018 Event.

Lyla is Mr. Burns' cousin and former lover. Mr. Burns describes Lyla as the girl that got away. When Mr. Burns met Lyla, he fell in love with her. One day after drawing Lyla, he proposed to her. However, Lyla asked Mr. Burns to promise her one thing, which was to spend five minutes a day thinking of others.
