Leopold is Superintendent Chalmers' assistant. In spite of his mean-looking appearance, he can actually be quite polite; whenever he makes introductions, people mistake him for the substitute employee, only to discover that he's introducing a new employee who at Springfield Elementary who turns out to be someone other than Leopold.
