The Hover-Copter is a limited-time decoration released during the Treehouse of Horror XXV Event. It was the tenth prize of the event's Part Two. It could have been crafted during part three if the player missed it in the prize track during part two.
It returned as a premium item during the 4th July 2015 Event and again during the SciFi 2016 Event.
It was re-released on October 4, 2016, for the Treehouse of Horror XXVII Event, offered as one of the possible prizes of the Mystery Jack O' Lantern.

The hover-copter was from Treehouse of Horror XXII, from In the Na'vi, the helicopter that was attacking the Rigellians.
