Hand Axes were a limited-time currency available during Treehouse of Horror XXXIV Event. They were used during the Act 3 main questline, The Monsters Mash, and the total is only visible there. The counter resets after each stage of the questline and Hand Axes earned do not carry over from one part to the next.

Hand Axes could have been obtained in the following ways:
- Sending characters to their limited-time jobs at the Visitable Homes OR Willie's ShackOR Macaroni's Shed OR Unfinished Shed OR Ice Fishing Shack could have earned basically 5 Hand Axes per one finished job.
