Canary M. Bird House was a limited time building released on August 1, 2018 as part of Act 1 of the Moe's Ark 2018 Event. Once built it triggers the quest Canary M. Birdhouse.

Canary M. Burns was the legal owner of Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. This should protect Mr. Burns from responsibility for any wrongdoing by the power plant. Homer with Bart's help released the bird from the plant to the Canary Islands.
The canary’s middle name has never been revealed.[1]
