Daily Challenges Main Screen

The Daily Challenges System was introduced permanently on February 4, 2016, replacing the Daily Play Combo. While previous major events had used a similar system, the permanent version introduced replacing a challenge for a different one, and offered various permanent Currencies instead of decorations or limited time crafting event currencies. Challenges can be checked at the Big Box or by tapping the button on the top right of the screen.

The Daily Challenges System becomes available when the player reaches level 8, and completes the Fresh Off the Donut Truck questline.

Bonus Prizes

After completing a number of Daily Challenges, the player can earn bonus donuts. How many tasks are needed, and the reward is displayed at the top of the Daily Challenges screen. Certain bonus prizes have a cooldown, which means once they have been completed, the player won't be able to get them again for a certain amount of time.

The selected bonus prize is random. Only the first time during the Fresh Off the Donut Truck questline it is guaranteed to be the challenge rewarding 3 Donuts for 5 days.

The Mystery Box prizes weren't available at first. They got added on February 23, 2016 with the Burns' Casino 2016 Event.

The Free Land Token prizes became available on January 9, 2019, with the Not Yet Spring Cleaning 2019 Event.

Trivia

  • If the Daily Challenge screen is opened long enough, one can observe a short interference appearing in regular intervals on the monitor showing the Donuts or the Mystery Box.
  • There appears to be a premature completion bug under certain circumstances. If a Daily Challenge requires a character or building which has been stored in Inventory, simply placing it can result in the task being marked completed and the reward given. e.g. if the Daily Challenge "Place a Bet at the Springfield Downs" is given, and Springfield Downs has been stored, starting the task will result in the Inventory being opened to retrieve the building, and upon placing it, a task completion sound will be heard and the job ticked off.
