Count Burns

Count Burns is a limited-time costume for Mr. Burns released on October 1, 2013, as part of the Treehouse of Horror XXIV Event. Together with Burns Coffin they were the ninth prize to be won in the event.

It was re-released together with the Burns Coffin as a premium item for the Treehouse of Horror XXV Event, and again on October 28, 2016, during the Treehouse of Horror XXVII Event.

About Edit

The media becomes frenzied when they discover a local vampire (Burns) has attacked and killed a person in Springfield. Burns then invites his employee, Homer Simpson and his family for dinner. Lisa and Bart become suspicious of Burns and discover his secret lair where they find out his dark secret. Burns bites Bart, turning him into an un-holy creature of the night. After the Simpson family find out what has happened, they return to Pennsylvania with plans to kill Burns. Homer hammers a stake into Burns' heart, killing him. However, once the Simpsons return home, Lisa discovers the truth Marge is actually the head vampire, not Burns.

Trivia Edit

• Count Burns' appearance is based on that of Gary Oldman's portrayal of Count Dracula in the 1992 horror-romance film, Bram Stoker's Dracula, which was directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
• Count Burns is from the Treehouse of Horror IV episode (Bart Simpson's Dracula)
• If Smithers does the job "Exercise for Mr. Burns" while Mr. Burns is wearing the Count Burns costume, Count Burns will wander around your town.
• Although some characters have the Go in for Questioning task, Count Burns is the only character who has this task permanently.
