Catfish Lake is a limited-time premium building that was released on November 18, 2020, as part of the Black Friday 2020 Promotion. It was the eighth and final prize to be unlocked in the promotion.

Catfish Lake is a small town in Springfield's state. The area around the lake is very rural. The Lovejoys own a house that is seldom used, except for an annual Church marriage retreat that goes for one week. Catfish Lake is, however, popular with fishermen hoping to catch a legendary catfish named General Sherman that suffers from gigantism.
