The Burns Coffin is a limited-time decoration that was released on October 1, 2013, as part of the Treehouse of Horror XXIV Event. Together with Count Burns they were the ninth prize to be won in the event.

It was re-released as a premium item during the Treehouse of Horror XXV Event. It has since returned during the XXVII and XXIX events.
