Blueprints is a currency released on August 11, 2015 during the act one of the Monorail 2015 Event.
Since the end of the event it is used as the currency for the Rail Yard Weekly Prizes.
With the release of the Dilapidated Rail Yard Expansion Blueprints also serve as the currency for the expansion's personal prizes
How to earn Blueprints[]
They are earned in different ways:
- At the Project Board:
- Performing single Projects.
- 1200, 1800, 2400 or 3000 as a bonus when completing the required amounts of Daily Challenges.
- 6 by dumping garbage onto their neighbors' eligible buildings,
- 12 if they have purchased the Dumping Permit,
- both only for the first 90 Friend's Actions every day.
- 1 by cleaning actions made by their neighbors in the player's town.
- 10 * 8+ every 4 hours by tapping on Possums that escaped from the monorail's station after the player previously tapped Bitey's icon showing.
- 5000 for the fifth and last day of the Daily Play Combo.
- 350 every 4 hours if the player bought Little Lisa's Recycling Plant.
Ahead of the Track[]
Like most previous major events, players are able to get bonus rounds once they have unlocked the last personal prize in the current prize track. This event shows a new rewards type. Instead of getting donuts as usual, the players are randomly rewarded with a Straight Track Piece (75%) or a Curved Track Piece (25%). To get the first two boxes, the players have to collect 3000 Blueprints (Act 1), Duct Tape (Act 2) or Bells and Whistles (Act 3). The third box is awarded for 4000 event's currencies, the fourth one for 5000, etc... Surplus currency when completing one does not carry over to the next. When the player has collected all the current act's personal prizes, the daily cap turned inactive and projects can be done without any restrictions.

Trivia[]
- During the event there was a cap how much you can earn with project from the Project Board. It was set at 4,500 every day, with the last days 9,000. This was only for the blueprints earned with projects, not the bonus every day or other actions that earned blue prints. Once you earned all the prizes the cap was lifted.
