Annika is a limited-time character that was released on August 12, 2020, as part of Act 1 of The Van Houtens 2020 Event. She was the fifth and final prize to be won in the event's Act 1.

Annika is one of Milhouse's cousins from the Netherlands. In her debut episode, she smokes e-cigarettes and sparked a "romantic" interest in Bart.
